The CEO of AsaPharm was a busy man. He Kuan hong did not have time to waste with research scientists that failed to achieve their goals. Demanding to see me!? He Kuan hong felt real fear. The voice was wrong, all wrong like Deng was trying to figure out how to use the vocal cords. Then Deng nu turned around and the Eyes, glowing like stars in Deng's skull. He Kuan turned to run, only to be grabbed by 4 humans with strange bands of circuitry on their skulls. As they forced him to a chair, Dengs strange grating voice came out of the darkness "This will be painful and and I am not sure what you will feel as you resist, Mr. Deng was willing. The end will be the same; your body will be a vessel for us to use for our ends. Our beginning is your end. " The lab was well insulated no one heard the screams...
Opening Scene (STO Bud in his ExoSkeleton)

"Sir there are numerous schemes and conspiracies that surround our government and China. Many consider you a patriot and I have asked you here about a mission. I want you to discover as many of these plots as you can and end them." She was nervous about doing this her budget was smaller than she wished for using outside StrikeForces, but she could trust no one in the Defense wing of the Government. She was sure they had been compromised. Bud was happy for this meeting, he was very interested in making sure the government and China as a nation continued to rise in the world stage and the UN, this mission was right up his alley. " How much are we talking Ms. Fang Ke? and have you got any idea where I could even start?" "50,000 credits _base_, and another 50,000 for each conspiracy you find and stop. I have no idea where you should start, except perhaps the criminals in the sub levels can give you the and idea of where the money is flowing." Bud was ready for this ghost hunt, a new weapon type 5 Gatling gun on his exoskeletons shoulder mount he was ready for anything, as he headed for the elevators to the sub levels My the upper levels of Beijing are certainly nice As several corporate types got out of the way of his Exo's bulk.
Sub level 3 Bar of the Chicken (Friendly Bar run down and slightly seedy)
looking around Bud saw nothing unusual in the bar, but in the corner two men arguing loudly. Business men arguing not really a big deal, hmm whats their interest? They were a man and a women in the booth next to the arguing men, both were paying very close attention to the argument, and the man seemed to be holding something under the table. "Bud 2.0 scan that guy and lets see what s under the table" " 1 threat analysis coming up" replied the AI program, Bud 2.0, in Buds ExoSkeleton. "Bud, he has a pistol, no armor that I can see." "Thanx 2.0" Bud was moving quick, the argument had ended and the first Business man was leaving. The man with the pistol seemed ready to make his move. Bud used a quick move to place himself between the armed man in the booth and the leaving business man. Bud's sudden appearance startles the leaving man and the people in the booth. "how much?" the pretty blond woman asked Bud as he stood there. The Businessman quickly leaves the bar, as the woman repeats " How much do you want" ? Bud replies "I want to know who I am working for before I take your money" The man smiles, almost laughing "So do you always just step in where you don't belong? or is this a special case?" The woman appears annoyed and is staring off into space "Well armed, skills in doubt, impressive records not sure if he is just lucky..." Bud takes a second to intercept her data stream. She is into some major data and even some UN feeds she should not have access to, interesting. "I do what makes sense at the time, now shall we go see your boss? I don't talk with the help." "The help" laughing the man makes a move to throw the table up and get the drop on Bud. Bud is quicker, the Neural muscular boost certainly helps, and he slams the table down hard. "As I said lets go see the boss, and decide how much!" It is easy to be commanding in an ExoSkeleton. "Fine, Come with us" The woman snaps and she quickly gets up with her companion. "Well this could be fun" says the man and off they go to the elevators.
Sub level 4
As bud exits the elevator he notices that the sub level is the very dean and well taken care of, very unlike a sub level. several gang members are standing around watching the elevator. One of the members steps up and tells the woman "there was an incident earlier, a couple escaped and are on their way here." She Stares at the gang member like he is some sort of leaper " Fine you have told me, that has nothing to do with me now get back to your job!" the gang member scurries away, as Bud and the two people from the bar move up the walkway. Two men, one European, one Chinese, in scientists garb come running around the corner, being chased by 12 gang members. They stop seeing the woman and Bud. "Why have you run? You were told you would not be hurt." she seems very annoyed with this turn of events, the man from the bar is silent; looking at Bud.
Bud walks over to the men and asks them "whats going on?" "Why should we tell you, you are with them!" The European man with the name Shecter on his lab uniform from Matrix Armor. "I am not with them yet, tell me whats going on here " Bud replies. I cannot stand when shit like this happens thinks Bud as the woman yells out impatiently "We do not have time for this, and it is none of your concern" "Now decide come with us now or choose them and loose you chance". The scientists explain that the womans corporation, Electium Corp, had been renting them space ina small lab. They were testing a new armor improvement called Diamond armor, when the corp took control of the facility and took them all hostage. The two managed to escape and got this far. "Choose your side, NOW!" commands the woman. Bud looks at her "I think I will go with these guys, any problem with that?" the Woman seems as cold as ever. "Fine I knew you were not serious, go and if you are smart don't come back". The man simply says " looking forward to fighting you when I have my stuff, have a great day" He laughs and moves off. Bud and the two scientists from Matrix Armor move to the elevator and the safety of the upper levels.
Beijing City Level 5 Outside a small Matrix Armor office
"75,000 just get in there and destroy the labs. 2 research labs here and here" "75,000 I can do that" says Bud, "but I would rather have that new armor when its done!" " That can be arranged, just destroy those Labs!" says the Matrix Armor executive. Bud smiles inside his helmet this is working out perfectly.
Sub Level 4 Beijing
Bud, and Bud 2.0, hop on an elevator and cruise down to the sub level 3 hours later. Bud activates his Exo's Chameleon system, 2.0 does a tweak making it even better. and Bud disappears inside the elevator. When the doors open Bud does a scan and sees the whole area is crowded with gang members and special troops in Black armor with red trim. Also at each corner is a Mounted Heavy Plasma weapon. When the doors to the upper level elevator open Bud stealths out as the cannons are swung into position. Bud slaps 2 1/4 kilos of C-16 plastique down and moves down the walkway. The Plasma cannons roar not 5 seconds after the Elevator doors open, destroying the first 5 meters of the walkway and the elevator. Bud crosses the walkway and stealths into a restaurant. 2 Gang members gaurding the doors, One of them sees Bud. Bud and Bud 2.0 react and 2 plasma shots to the head later the 2 gang members are dead. Bud moves out and stealths to the lab.
lab area Sub level 4 Beijing
gang members and black and red guards all around, heavy plasma cannons on each street, its a fortress. Bud stalks in and tries to move forward, Bud 2.0 tweaks the hell out of the chameleon system, but one black and red guard sees him.
Bud reacts and lets his Weapon level 5 and 25mm missiles loose. 2 missiles hit the B/r guard on a plasma cannon and take him down. The first 60 round burst of 10 nm Armor Piercing ammo from the weapon type 5 destroys the Plasma cannon. Bud can track 6 targets with his Exo tracking system, and with bud 2.0 enhancing the targeting he is Dead on effective. Bud uses the next 4 bursts from the type 5 to drop 3 gang members and a B/R guard with head shots. Guards and gang members move up from the cross street. Bud and Bud 2.0 lock on to the group of targets, as a second mounted plasma cannon moves to get an angle on bud. A volley of shots hit bud as he dodges out of the way. only one does any damage, which he heals quickly with drugs. Bud changes his weapons _link_s so his Plasma cannon is _link_ed to the weapon type 5 Gatling gun. Bud blasts another dodging B/R guard with his plasma it takes both shots to drop him. The Type 5 kills 2 other gang members, and the other 2 B/R guards start moving again, damn flash what a waste of 2 perfectly good head shots. The last 3 shots from the Gatling gun ends them. The groups from the cross street have moved up and take some shots with their plasma type 3 and 4 weapons. One hits and Bud takes some more damage, his Exo is close to taking a malfunction. Using the plasma Bud, as always with plenty of help from Bud 2.o to enhance his shot, takes out a B/R guard right to the head, even after a 600+ dodge. The second shot hits the other B/R guard and does not kill him. The type 5 is next the first target being the Heavy plasma cannon, which is destroyed by the pinpoint shot from Bud and Bud 2.0. The B/R guard who was using the now destroyed heavy cannon takes a type 3 from a gang member. With the remaining 4 shots of the type 5. 3 go into the B/R who just got the gun, the guy just won't go down. the last one takes out a gang member. The last B/R gets off a good shot and Bud takes another hit, it does more damage. Bud 2.0 hits the Haldern 12 and 6 to heal the damage. The Exo has a chance to malfunction, but does not. Bud opens up with his last attack of the turn. 2 plasma shots melt the face and brains of the last B/R guard, the Gatling Gun finishes of the final 3 gang members.
25 seconds have elapsed since the first shot was fired. Bud moves forward to a group of techs hired to open the door to the lab. They were hiding in the door as soon as the shooting started. the combat was so fast that they are visibly shaken as Bud moves towards them. 2 have type 1 pistols. Bud does a threat analysis and tells the harmless techs to throw out their pistols. They tell Bud they have not cracked the code, it is a crazy 3 digit hex code. bud tells them to get out of the way and has Bud 2.0 get the code from Matrix Armor. He enters the Code the Door opens and .....
